An amazing no-bake snack bar loaded with the new M&M’s® Honey Nut candies, chocolate chips, honey and peanut butter! Super simple to make, these easy bars come together in minutes making the perfect on-the-go snack!
Do you ever experience late afternoon snack attacks? You know the ones – it’s about 4:30 or 5pm, dinner isn’t done, and you’re craving a yummy, satisfying snack to tide you over? These awesome No-Bake M&M’s® Chewy Bars are the perfect solution to those late afternoon snack cravings!
While trying out the three NEW M&M’s® candies – M&M’s® Chili Nut, M&M’s® Coffee Nut, and M&M’s® Honey Nut, I was inspired to create these yummy snack bars. Have you tried these new M&M’s® yet? All three are awesome!!

Making these yummy No-Bake Snack Bars couldn’t be easier! You’ll start by combining the honey and peanut butter. Microwave these for 30-60 seconds and mix until smooth. Add the vanilla and stir. From here you’ll add the oatmeal one cup at a time, and then stir in the mini chocolate chips.
Once you’ve mixed in the chocolate chips, pour out the mixture into a 9×9 pan lined with waxed paper. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan, and then top with M&M’s® Honey Nut candies. These M&M’s® Honey Nut candies are an awesome topping for these chewy bars – the great honey flavor compliments the other ingredients perfectly!
Once you have the M&M’s® Honey Nut candies on the oatmeal mixture, refrigerate for at least one hour. Once the bars become firm, they will be ready to cut. These snack bars not only make for great afternoon snacks, they’re also awesome as a quick grab-and-go snack as you’re headed out the door, and great to pack for road trips, as well!
Here’s the easy, delicious recipe for my No Bake M&M’s® Chewy Bars:
- 1 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. old fashioned oatmeal (dry/uncooked)
- 1 c. mini chocolate chips
- 1 (10.2 oz.) pkg, M&M’s® Honey Nut candies or M&M’s® Peanut candies
- Line a 9"x9" pan with plastic wrap or waxed paper, and lightly spray with non-stick spray. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add the peanut butter and honey. Microwave for 30-60 seconds, and stir until smooth and combined. Add vanilla and stir. Add the oatmeal one cup at a time and stir until combined. Add the chocolate chips and stir. Pour mixture into prepared pan and press evenly into pan. Evenly top with the M&M’s® Honey Nut candies, and gently press into the oatmeal mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour for bars to become firm. Cut into 12 bars.
