The BEST Balsamic Grilled Chicken Recipe!


– 1 lb. chicken breasts (you can also use thighs, drumsticks or quarters) For marinade: – 1/2 c. balsamic vinegar – 1/3 c. olive oil – 3 Tbsp. brown sugar – 2 tsp. minced garlic – 1 tsp. ground pepper – salt, optional


Step 1: Make the Balsamic marinade

In a medium bowl, whisk together the vinegar, olive oil, brown sugar, minced garlic and pepper. Reserve about 3 Tbsp. of the marinade and set aside.

Step 2: Marinate the Chicken

Place the chicken into a resealable bag, and pour the remainder of the marinade over the chicken. Coat chicken well and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 24 hours.

Step 3: Grill the Chicken

Heat grill to medium-high. Treat grill grates with olive oil, or non-stick grilling spray. Place chicken skin-side down over indirect heat, and grill approximately 6 minutes (per side.)

Step 4: Brush Chicken with Reserved Marinade

Once you turn the chicken, brush with the reserved balsamic marinade, and let it cook for its final 6 minutes.

Step 5: Rest Meat Before Serving

Remove chicken from grill, transfer to serving plate, and enjoy right away.
