How to Make the BEST Grilled Chicken Legs

First, mix together the seasoning.  You'll need: -2 tsp. chili powder, -1 tsp. onion powder, -1 tsp. garlic powder, -1/2 tsp. pepper, -1/2 tsp. cumin

Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels. This will help the seasoning adhere to the chicken.

Sprinkle the chicken legs with the seasoning mix on all sides. You'll have enough for 10 drumsticks.

Preheat your grill to approx. 400 degrees. Grill the drumsticks, turning every 5-8 minutes to sear on all sides.

In the last 8 minutes of grilling, the legs can then be brushed with bbq sauce. Waiting until the end ensures the sauce doesn't burn.

To ensure chicken is done cooking, use an instant-read digital meat thermometer to check doneness.  Temp should be 165-170 degrees.

Once done grilling, let meat rest for 5 minutes to let juices distribute. Serve with extra sauce & enjoy!
