Easy 5 Ingredient Cream Cheese Blueberry Danish



– 1 sheet, frozen puff pastry – 4 oz. cream cheese, soft – 1/4 cup sugar – 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract -- 1 cup fresh blueberries

Just 5 Ingredients:

Step 1: Mix the cream cheese filling

In a bowl, cream together the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Set mixture aside.

Step 2: Cut the puff pastry sheet

Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet. Cut into 6 rectangles using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.

Step 3: Spread cream cheese onto pastry

To the puff pastry add about 2 tablespoons each of the cream cheese mixture. Spread in the center, leaving a small perimeter.

Step 4: Add Blueberries

To the pastries, add the fresh blueberries on top of the cream cheese center. Arrange blueberries, if you like.

Step 5: Bake pastries

Bake the pastries at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

Step 6: Mix the  glaze

Mix together the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla in a small bowl. Glaze will be thick and creamy.

Step 7: Drizzle the pastries with glaze

Enjoy warm with coffee or tea!
