Heart-Shaped Chocolate Covered Pretzels



– 12 - jumbo, pub-style pretzels – 16 oz of dipping chocolate (or 8 oz each of chocolate and vanilla) – 1 (8 oz.) bag of M&M's® Strawberry candies


Step 1

Start by laying down a sheet of waxed paper on your work surface.

Step 2

Melt the dipping chocolate according to the package directions (I melted mine in the microwave for about 1 minute for each 8 oz bowl of chocolate.)

Step 3

Submerge each pretzel into the melted chocolate so it's completely covered. Lift out with a fork or spatula, and gently shake off any excess chocolate.

Step 4

Lay the pretzel on the waxed paper. While the chocolate is still wet, add the M&M's® along the edge of the pretzel to make a heart shape.

Step 5

Let the chocolate cool and set completely, for at least 30-60 minutes. Place the pretzels in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to speed up the cooling process.
