Lemon Pepper Grilled Chicken

– 1 1/2 lbs. chicken breasts (can also use legs or thighs) Marinade: – 1/4 c. olive oil – 1/2 c. lemon juice (juice of 2 lemons) – 2 Tbsp. lemon zest (zest of about 1 lemon) – 3 cloves of garlic, minced – 1 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning

INGREDIENTS

Step 1

In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, and lemon pepper seasoning.

Step 2

Place chicken into a resealable plastic bag. Pour marinade over chicken. Seal bag, and refrigerate chicken and marinade for at least 30 minutes or up to 12 hours.

Step 3

Preheat grill to medium high heat. Brush grill grates with olive oil, or spray with non-stick grilling spray.

Step 4

Place chicken over indirect heat. Grill chicken breasts for approximately 6-8 minutes per side. If unsure about doneness, use a meat thermometer to make sure internal temperature reads 165 degrees.

Step 5

Serve right away while warm with your favorite sides.
