– 3/4 cup butter --  1/2 cup granulated sugar – 1/2 cup light brown sugar – 1 egg + 1 egg yolk – 2 cups all purpose flour – 1 teaspoon salt – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 cup white chocolate chips – 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips – 3/4 cup Christmas M&M's

INGREDIENTS 

Step 1: Mix Wet & Dry Ingredients

Separately combine the wet and dry ingredients in separate bowls. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredient to form the dough. Consistency will be thick.

Step 2: Add in chocolate chips & M&M's

To the cookie dough, add in the white and semi sweet chocolate chips and M&M's to the dough. Stir together with a rubber scraper to combine. Chill the dough.

Step 3: Form cookie dough balls

After chilling the dough, form the dough balls. Using a cookie scoop is a helpful tool.

Place 12 cookie dough balls on a lined pan. Using a silicone baking mat helps the cookies bake evenly. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Step 4: Place on lined pan to bake

Step 5: Transfer cookie to rack

Once cookies are done baking, let cool on the pan for 5 minutes. Then, transfer to a cooling rack with a spatula to help cookies cool completely.

Cookies can be enjoyed right away. Store at room temperature in an airtight container. Cookies can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
