Pumpkin Slow Cooker Steel Cut Oats



– 2 c. water – 1 1/2 c. milk – 1 c. Steel-cut oats (NOT quick cooking or rolled oats) – 1 c. canned pumpkin puree – 3 Tbsp. honey – 2 tsp. vanilla extract – 1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice – 1/2 tsp. salt


Step 1

Into your slow cooker, add the water, milk, oats, pumpkin, honey, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice and salt.

Step 2

Whisk ingredients together well to combine.

Step 3

Cover with lid and set slow cooker to low. 

Step 4

Cook for 4-6 hours, or until oats are soft, but retain their form.

Step 5

Serve right away while warm and top with preferred toppings. If refrigerating, store in airtight containers for up to six days.
