Strawberry Dump Cake Recipe


– 2 (16 oz.) pkg, frozen strawberries, or 4 heaping cups – 1 (16.25 oz) cake mix, white or yellow – 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted


Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium baking dish, or 9x9" baking dish or pan add the frozen strawberries to the bottom of the dish. They do not have to be thawed.

Step 2

To a mixing bowl, add the cake mix. Pour the melted butter over the cake mix and stir together with a fork until crumbly. Mixture will resemble gravel.

Step 3

Evenly top the strawberries with the cake mix crumble. Bake the strawberry cobbler for 33-35 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 4

Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Step 5

Serve warm over vanilla ice cream, if desired.
