Arrow

– 12 oz. pkg. white chocolate chips – 1 Tablespoon unflavored coconut oil – 18 strawberries, medium - large Toppings: – sprinkles – mini chocolate chips – chopped almonds

INGREDIENTS

Step 1

Place a piece of parchment paper or waxed paper on a baking sheet. Set prepared pan aside. Rinse the strawberries and dry well with paper towels, making sure there is no moisture on the berries.

Step 2

Using a double boiler, place the white chocolate into the bowl and stir in the coconut oil. (Add 1" of water into the bottom sauce pan, and place a glass or metal bowl over the top of the pan.) Set the heat to low and allow the water in the sauce pan to simmer.

Step 3

Be sure to keep the heat on low. Heating the white chocolate too fast or at too high of a heat will cause the chocolate to seize and become dry and lumpy. Continually stir the chocolate as it slowly melts.

Step 4

Once the white chocolate is completely melted, dip the strawberries into the melted chocolate holding the berry at the stem. Place the dipped berry onto the pan with parchment paper.

Step 5

Let the berries dry and chocolate harden at room temperature. Refrigerate the berries until ready to serve and enjoy.
