Frozen Chocolate Covered Banana Bites


– 2 large bananas, sliced - 3 tablespoons peanut butter - 3/4 cup chocolate chips - 1 tablespoon coconut oil

INGREDIENTS for banana bites

Step 1: Slice and Freeze Bananas

Slice bananas a little less than 1/4" in width.

Step 2: Place Bananas on lined pan & freeze

Use parchment paper or waxed paper so the bananas don't freeze & stick to the pan.

Step 3: Add peanut butter to 1/2 of the slices

Add about 1/2 teaspoon of peanut butter to 1/2 of the slices. Feel free to use creamy or crunchy peanut butter.

Step 4: Freeze bananas & peanut butter

Create mini peanut butter & banana sandwiches. Then freeze for 1-2 hours. Note: It is important for these to be frozen before dipping in chocolate.

Step 5: Dip frozen bananas into chocolate

Dip the frozen bananas & peanut butter into the melted chocolate.

Step 6: Top with chopped nuts or sea salt

Top with chopped peanuts, chopped almonds or sea salt.
