- 1 lb. sweet potatoes about 2 large potatoes, rinsed and peeled
- 2 Tablespoons avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika or regular paprika
Preheat your air fryer according to owners manual. (For Ninja Max air fryer users, this is 3 minutes.)
Rinse and peel the sweet potatoes. Slice potatoes into long wedges that are about 1/2" thick.
Add the potatoes to a mixing bowl and drizzle with the oil and sprinkle on the garlic salt, ground pepper and smoked paprika. Toss together with a rubber scraper so the potatoes are evenly coated with the oil and spices.
Add the potato wedges to the preheated air fryer. Cook at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes give the basket a toss to turn the fries. Cook for another 7-8 minutes at 400 degrees. Fries will be slightly browned on the edges and outside, but cooked through completely.
Serve right away with your favorite dipping sauce.
Storage: Store any leftovers in an airtight container refrigerated. Will keep for up to 5 days refrigerated.
Reheating: Reheat in the air fryer or toaster oven at 360 for 3-5 minutes until warm and crispy.
