Refrigeration time is 6 hours or overnight. This will keep refrigerated for up to 5 days.Sweetener substitutes: maple syrup, honey or any other granular sweeteners, like monk fruit extract, Swerve or Lakanto brand sweeteners. If fresh cherries are out of season, feel free to use frozen cherries. I would NOT recommend maraschino cherries or cherry pie filling, as these are high in refined sugar, high fructose corn syrup and artificial coloring.
