Oval Baking Dish This Staub 9" Oval baking dish is perfect for cobblers, crumbles, casseroles and more! Glass Mixing Bowls Ideal for cooking and baking, and great for anything that needs to go into a microwave.
- 6 cups frozen mixed berries
- 1 (15.25 oz. box) yellow cake mix can also use white or lemon
- 1/2 cup butter 1 stick, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
To a bowl, add the dry cake mix. Pour the melted butter over the top of the cake mix. Using a fork, stir together making a crumble-like mixture.
To a medium baking dish (9x9 or oval baking dish is ideal), add the frozen berries. The berries do not need to be thawed. Top the berries evenly with the cake mix crumble mixture.
Bake the berry cobbler at 350 degrees for 30-33 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Spoon into individual bowls and serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
Cake Mix Options: you can use white, yellow or even a lemon cake mix. I used a sugar-free cake mix to keep the sugar content low.
Storage: Store any leftover cobbler, covered in the baking dish, or stored in a resealable container. Refrigerate. Kept refrigerated, the cobbler will keep for 3-4 days.
