Equipment

  • Copper Mugs Copper mugs are an essential vessel for serving a Moscow mule! Very pretty and great at keeping your drink icy cold!
  • Citrus Juicer This hand-held citrus juicer is fantastic for fresh lime and lemon juice. Great for making cocktails!

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. ginger beer
  • 1 1/2 oz. vodka like Tito's
  • 1/2 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 oz. pineapple juice
  • Fresh or frozen pineapple chunks about 1/3 cup

Instructions

  • Fill a copper mug 3/4 full with ice. On top of the ice, add the fresh or frozen pineapple chunks.
  • Over the top of the ice and pineapple, add the vodka, lime juice and pineapple juice. Fill the remaining mug with ginger beer (approximately 4-6 oz.).
  • If desired, garnish with fresh lime and pineapple slices. Enjoy right away while cold.

Notes

Moscow mules are best served just before mixing. If you wanted to mix a large batch in advance, I recommend adding the vodka, lime juice and pineapple juice into one container. When serving add this mixture to the copper mugs and top with the ginger beer just before serving.
