The BEST Chicken Tater Tot Casserole Recipe


INGREDIENTS you'll need:

– Cream of chicken soup – Milk  – Salt – Pepper – Pre-cooked chicken – Frozen peas and carrots  – Shredded cheddar cheese  – Frozen tater tots

Step 1: Mix the creamy soup base

Preheat oven to 400. In a mixing bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup with the milk, salt and pepper.

Step 2: add chicken & vegetables

To the soup mixture, add in the chicken and vegetables. Frozen peas and carrots need to be thawed, which can be done in the microwave.

Step 3: add in chicken mixture to casserole dish

Evenly spread the chicken mixture to the bottom of a 9 x 13" casserole dish. Top with 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheese.

Step 4: Add the tater tots

Top with the frozen tater tots.  Bake at 400 degrees for 28-30 minutes or until tots are golden brown.

Step 5: Add remaining cheese

Add the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheese to the top of the tater tots and bake for another 5 minutes.

Step 6: Serve & Enjoy!

Once done baking, let casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy with a side-salad or extra vegetables.
