Super EASY Tortellini and Meatballs Marinara


– 1 (28 oz) pkg. frozen Italian meatballs – 1 (20 oz.) pkg., refrigerated cheese tortellini – 1 (24 oz.) jar, marinara sauce – 1 (14 oz.) can, petite diced tomatoes – 1 1/2 teaspoon Italian herbs – 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt – 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Step 1: Add sauce and spices to meatballs

Once the meatballs have browned and are completely heated through, add in the marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian herbs and garlic salt.

Step2: Bring to Simmer

Reduce the heat to medium low and bring the sauce to a simmer. This will take approximate 3-4 minutes.

Step 3: Add tortellini to marinara & meatballs

Once the sauce comes to a simmer, add in the refrigerated tortellini.

Step 4: Simmer sauce & tortellini

Simmer the tortellini in the sauce for 3-5 minutes. This will heat the tortellini through.

Step 5: Add shredded mozzarella

Top the tortellini and meatballs with the shredded mozzarella cheese. 

It's ready to serve!

Add a lid back to the skillet and let the cheese melt over medium-low heat for 2-3 minutes. It's ready to serve!

Serve with your favorite Italian sides!

Top with fresh grated Parmesan cheese. Serve with vegetables or Italian sides like caprese salad.
