Equipment

  • blender I LOVE my Blendtec Designer Series Blender. It's great for making coffee drinks, frozen cocktails, and even muffin and pancake batter.
  • Milk Frother If you love making homemade coffee drinks, having a milk frother is a great tool to have on hand.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup coffee strong brewed
  • 1/2 cup light eggnog like Almond Breeze Light Eggnog
  • 1/2 cup milk dairy or plant based
  • 1 teaspoon granular monk fruit sweetener like Lakanto
  • Sprinkle of Nutmeg or Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Brew strong coffee into a large mug. Choose mug that can accommodate 16 oz. of liquid. Set aside.
  • In a microwave safe mug or glass measuring cup, whisk together the eggnog, milk and sweetener. Stir so that the sweetener dissolves.
  • Add eggnog mixture to microwave, and heat for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes or until steaming hot.
  • Pour hot eggnog mixture into a blender. Remove top center portion of blender lid to vent to let steam escape - this is important! Lightly and loosely cover lid hole with a towel. Blend for 30-60 seconds or until mixture is foamy and frothy.
  • Pour hot eggnog mixture into large mug with the coffee, making sure to pour the foam on top. Sprinkle top foam with additional nutmeg or cinnamon, if desired. Enjoy right away while hot.
