  • Air Fryer We use this Ninja Max XL air fryer almost daily! A fantastic tool for making quick and simple dinners.
  • Air Fryer Disposable Liners Great for almost any air fryer model, these disposable liners make clean-up a breeze!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. raw shrimp (medium-large sized) tails removed
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons lime juice juice of 1 lime

Shrimp Taco Seasoning:

For Serving:

  • 8 corn or flour tortillas small to medium, toasted

Instructions

  • In a bowl, place the raw shrimp and top with the olive oil. Using a small rubber scraper or spoon toss the olive oil and shrimp together to coat.
  • In a small bowl, combine the spices; chili powder, cumin, garlic salt, onion powder and pepper. Stir together with a spoon. Sprinkle over the top of the shrimp. Stir together to coat the shrimp with the seasoning.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees. Add in the seasoned shrimp at cook at 390 for 6-8 minutes total. Stop about half way through to toss the shrimp, ensuring they brown evenly.
  • Once the shrimp are done cooking, add the fresh lime juice on top of the cooked shrimp. Assemble the tacos with the tortillas and any preferred toppings. Enjoy right away.

Notes

Air Fryer Preheating: Be sure to consult your owners manual for how long your air fryer needs to preheat. I have the Ninja Max XL Air Fryer, which need approximately 3 minutes to heat to temperature.
Topping and Serving Ideas: great served with salsa, pico de gallo, pineapple mango salsa, black bean corn salsa, avocado, guacamole, sliced jalapenos, sour cream, or any other preferred Tex-Mex toppings.
Storage: Store any leftover shrimp in its own resealable container. Store toppings, sides and tortilla separately. Shrimp will keep for up to 3-4 days refrigerated.
