Crispy pan-fried salmon bites cooked in a honey garlic sauce. The perfect quick weeknight dinner when you're looking to enjoy a quick and delicious salmon recipe.
Cut salmon into 1" cubes. If skin is still on salmon, remove skin with knife. Transfer cubes to a paper-towel lined pan. Thoroughly pat salmon pieces dry with paper towels.
In small bowl, combine spices; garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, pepper and garlic salt. Stir together. Sprinkle spices over the salmon pieces, making sure to turn the salmon so that all sides are evenly spices.
Heat a large non-stick skillet on medium-high heat. Add the olive oil. To the hot skillet add HALF of the salmon pieces. (You'll want to cook the salmon pieces in two batches to ensure even cooking.) Cook on one side of the salmon for 2-3 minutes, turn pieces over to sear on the other side. Pieces should have a golden brown sear. Transfer cooked salmon bites to a paper towel lined plate. Repeat process with second batch of salmon pieces.
For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
In a small bowl whisk together the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic and ginger. Heat the same skillet that you cooked the salmon in to medium heat. Pour in the sauce and continually stir with a rubber scraper for 4-5 minutes. Sauce will begin to thicken. Once the sauce has thickened, add the crispy salmon pieces back into the pan with the sauce. Coat the salmon bites in the sauce.
Optionally, garnish with sesame seeds or chopped chives. Serve and enjoy!
