Add 6-8 medium strawberries that have been rinsed and stems removed to a blender cup or jar. Add about 2 tablespoons of water. Puree the strawberries for about 30 seconds or until completely smooth.
For making the Strawberry Moscow Mule:
Fill copper mug(s) with crushed ice.
Add in 1/4 cup of strawberry puree (per drink). Add the vodka and lime juice. Top the drink with cold ginger beer
Enjoy right away while cold.

For the Strawberry Puree: if making several drinks, feel free to make the strawberry puree in advance. Store in a jar or resealable container in the refrigerator until ready to mix the drinks.Directions for Mocktail: To make this Strawberry Moscow mule a mocktail, simply leave out the vodka. Pour in extra ginger beer (this is non-alcoholic) until the mug is nearly full. Enjoy right away while cold.Directions for Pitcher: To make a picher of strawberry moscow mules, you'll need the following; 2 cups of strawberry puree, 2 cups of vodka, and 1/2 cup of fresh lime juice. Stir together and chill in the refrigerator. When ready to serve, fill copper mugs with ice, and pour the strawberry mixture over the ice, about half way. Pour the ginger beer over the top to fill the mug. Garnish with strawberry and/or lime slices. This will make 8 mules.
