Ingredients You'll Need:

1 c. Salt 1/2 c. Brown Sugar 2 Tbsp. Peppercorns 2 Tbsp. Dried Rosemary 2 Tbsp. Dried Thyme 2 Tbsp. Whole Cloves 2-3 Star Anise 3-4 Cinnamon Sticks 3 cloves garlic 2 oranges, sliced 2 qts. apple cider 1 gallon water

Step 1: Simmer Brine & Cool

Heat all brine ingredients and bring to a boil. Let liquid cool completely.

Step 2: Pour Cooled Brine Over Turkey

Place your thawed turkey, breast side down, in a large brining bag, and pour the cooled brine over the turkey.

Step 3: Refrigerate your Turkey 

Making sure to keep your turkey cold, refrigerate your brined turkey for 18-24 hours.

Step 4: Rinse your Turkey before Roasting

Once your turkey is ready to roast, take it out of the brine and thoroughly rinse before roasting.
