These are some of the BEST Kitchen Tools that I use on the regular:
I’m asked quite often about the tools, appliances and products I use in my kitchen. Since I cook on a daily basis, I’ve amassed quite a collection of gadgets and gizmos.
Many tools come and go, often being a complete waste of money. However, there are a few tools that have remained continuously reliable and worth their weight in gold when it comes to saving time with food prep.
Here are my favorite useful and essential kitchen tools that I use on the regular:
Essential Kitchen Tools: Small Appliances
Cuisinart MSC-600 3-In-1 Cook Central 6-Quart Multi-Cooker: Slow Cooker, Brown/Saute, Steamer
I’ve owned multiple slow-cookers, and this 3-in-1 Cuisinart has been my favorite by a mile! I love it because it has a sear/browning option which allows for searing the outside of roasts before you begin slow cooking or browning ground beef or turkey before slow cooking your chili.
I also love this slow cooker as it has an aluminum cooking insert that is nearly indestructible! (Unlike ceramic crock inserts that have slipped out of my hands while washing and have cracked or broken.)
Here are some recipes that I love making in this Cuisinart Slow Cooker:
Slow Cooker Mexican Shredded Beef
Pumpkin Slow Cooker Steel Cut Oats
Cuisinart TOA-60 Convection Toaster Oven Airfryer, Silver
My Cuisinart Toast Oven/Air Fryer is likely one of the hardest working appliances in my kitchen. I use it daily for everything from toasting English muffins for breakfast sandwiches, to roasting vegetables, to air frying salmon or Mahi Mahi.
I absolutely love the versatility of this appliance and how much it can do in my kitchen. The stainless steel design also looks great on my kitchen counter.
Recipes I’ve created with this tool:
Blendtec Designer 725 Blender – WildSide+ Jar (90 oz) and Twister Jar (37 oz) BUNDLE
Easily the best blender I’ve ever owned! This Blendtec can not only whip up smoothies with ease, I’ve made pancake and muffin batter in the Wildside Jar, ground my own oat flour, and have even made nut butter! The Wildside Jar is designed for thicker batters, nut butters and dough.
This Blendtec blender has a really powerful motor that can handle almost any ingredient. I also love the touch screen control panel, as it’s easy enough for my child to use.
Here are some recipes that I love making with this Blendtec Blender:
Raspberry Almond Chia Smoothie
Dash Rapid Egg Cooker: 6 Egg Capacity Electric Egg Cooker for Hard Boiled Eggs, Poached Eggs, Scrambled Eggs, or Omelets
This handy, dandy little egg cooker/steamer is easily my favorite meal prep tool! Fantastic for making hard-boiled eggs for the week, or steaming up the perfect sized eggs for a breakfast sandwich, this little guy is amazing!
Note: when adding tap water (which I do) to the steamer, the bottom heating element will need to be cleaned. The bottom stainless steel heating element will appear to have rust, but it is not rust – it’s minerals from the water. Good news though, distilled vinegar and some paper towels or a soft cloth cleans the minerals with ease and looks as good as new.
Useful Kitchen Tools: Food Products
Sweeteners:
In the past year, I’ve made the choice to cut refined sugar out of my diet. However, when I’m looking to enjoy a sweet treat, or maybe bake something that needs a bit of sweetness, I use one of these sweeteners instead of granular sugar.
For more about my journey on going sugar free, check out my post on How to Quit Sugar and Survive
Here are some of my favorite products that help me stay refined sugar free:
Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetenerand Lakanto Maple Flavored Syrup are fantastic products.
I use the granular monk fruit sweetener in my morning coffee, and all of my overnight oats and baked oatmeal recipes, like these:
Chocolate Protein Overnight Oats
The maple flavored syrup is great on pancakes and waffles and is a great sweetener for my Black Bean Brownies!
Swerve Sugar Replacement products:
Swerve makes some fantastic sugar alternatives. I’ve used all three of these products: confectioners, granular and brown sugar and they do not disappoint!
These are fantastic for baking. I’ve used these in my Copycat Starbucks Lemon Loaf my Healthy Chocolate Banana Bread, and my Apple Pie Tarts.
Lily’s No Sugar Added Chocolate Products:
Lily’s Dark Chocolate Baking Chips have quickly become my go-to chocolate chip for my sugar free sweet treats. I love them in my 4-Ingredient Oatmeal Cookies mixed into my Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Mug Cake and melted over the top of my Chocolate Protein Overnight Oats.
You can sample all of Lily’s Dark Chocolate Bars in this sampler pack! These are also great melted over the top of fresh strawberries and raspberries!
Useful Kitchen Tools: Cookware and Bakeware
This Anolon Ceramic Baking Dish is one of my go-to 9×9 pans for everything from my Blueberry Baked Oatmeal Bars to my Lemon Cheesecake Squares. Not only is it oven and dishwasher safe, it looks amazing as a serving dish as well.
