Apple cider has never tasted so good! Poured over vanilla ice cream and topped with caramel and whipped cream, its the perfect fall treat!
Sometimes, in life, difficult days are to be had. Its inevitable, and completely unavoidable. As we all know, its how we handle those difficult situations that define us as a mother, parent, human being. Most often, our patience has been worn thin, our energy is drained, and our emotional tenacity is completely absent. The feeling of defeat looms over us with the rest of our unaccomplished tasks of the day.
This is the life of a mother.
Out of these rough days, thankfully, emerge new beginnings. New ideas, fresh perspective, and the hope of better days moving forward. The salvation of other mothers who know the defeat, but who also know the victories is imperative to the survival of motherhood. We, as mothers, must stick together. We must help one another get up, dust ourselves off, pull the gum out of our hair, and fight another good fight for our babies. It is essential for the survival of the human race.
I have been immensely blessed to have met some amazing mommy friends over the past several years since the birth of Harrison. To laugh with, cry with, bitch with, and to contemplate our worries, fears and joys. Sharing those wonderful milestones that our babies reach, and most of all to be utterly grateful that we are called Mommy.
Raise your glass with one of these delicious and easy fall drinks – Caramel Apple Cider Floats. And Cheers to all of my Mommy friends – you know who you are. May we see many more difficult and joyous days ahead!
