An amazing breakfast, perfect to get the school day off to a great start! Loaded with fresh, rainbow colored fruit, vanilla Greek yogurt and topped off with Kellogg’s Fruit Loops™! The ultimate way to surprise your kids on the first day of school, their birthday or for a fun family breakfast!
Do you have trouble getting your kids to eat breakfast? Are mornings often rushed and chaotic trying to get your kids out the door or to the bus stop? We all know that if you’re kids don’t have a substantial, filling breakfast before school, they’re not ready to learn. Kiddos with an empty stomach will have a hard time focusing, and concentrating.
Making sure you have some yummy breakfast ideas for busy mornings in your back pocket is a great way to start the school year. My Rainbow Fruit and Yogurt Breakfast Bowls are an awesome idea, loaded with everything your kids will love and fill their tummies in the process!
Incorporating Kellogg’s Fruit Loops™, along with fresh fruit and vanilla Greek yogurt is a fantastic breakfast solution that your kids will really enjoy! I stopped at my local Walmart, while doing so back-to-school shopping, and made sure to grab some Family Size Kellogg’s Fruit Loops™ along with M&M’s® Mixed Mini Variety Bag, which are the perfect treat for packing in lunchboxes. Make sure to also look for the Ghostbusters M&M’s® Milk Chocolate Bottle and the Ghostbusters Family Size Kellogg’s Fruit Loops™. Ghostbusters is in theaters now! You can also look for the in-store coupon with savings of $0.75 off 1 M&M’s® Bottle July 17 – September 30.
M&M’s® Peanut and M&M’s® Milk Chocolate along with the Mixed Mini Bags are a fantastic treat to have in your arsenal while getting ready for the school year. The Family Size box of Kellogg’s Fruit Loops™ is also great to stock your pantry all through the school year.
When building these easy breakfast bowls, I started by sorting the Kellogg’s Fruit Loops™ into individual colors. This is actually a fun task to incorporate with your kids. These yummy, fruity treats make a great little snack as well.
Next step in building the breakfast bowl is to prepare the strawberries (red), mango (orange), pineapple (yellow), kiwi (green), blueberries (blue), and blackberries (purple). Each of these fruits represents one of the colors in the rainbow! I like having a variety of fruit, cut up, washed and ready to eat. These little bowls filled with prepared fruit make it really simple and quick to build your breakfast bowls first thing in the morning.
Next, place the vanilla Greek yogurt in the bottom of the bowl. Next, add your fruits – rainbow sequence (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple), is a fun way to make the breakfast bowls look especially pretty. Lastly, add the Kellogg’s Fruit Loops™ paired up by each color. Not only will you have a pretty, tasty breakfast, your kids will enjoy two full servings of fruit, the yogurt offers a serving of dairy, and the Kellogg’s Fruit Loops™ add amazing flavor and crunch for the perfect breakfast treat!
