You’ll be in your favorite patio chair sipping this amazing lemon drop cocktail quicker than you can say “self imposed happy hour!” Here are the super-simple steps to making this amazing Strawberry Lemon Drop.
What do I need to make a strawberry lemon drop?
Here’s a quick-reference shopping list of the ingredients you’ll need to make this simple cocktail:
- Strawberries (to make the puree) – fresh strawberries are ideal, however, if they are out of season, you can certainly use frozen.
- Limoncello liqueur – limoncello will give this martini a fantastic lemon flavor.
- Lemon vodka – lemon vodka is fantastic to have on hand for numous cocktails and will give this drink a distinct lemon flavor.
- Lemon-lime soda – excellent for the perfect sparkle. Feel free to use either sprite, 7up, Starry, club soda or seltzer water.

How do I make a strawberry lemon drop martini?
Begin by prepping your cocktail shaker. You will want your cocktail to be nice and cold, so start with plenty of ice in your shaker.
For this delicious lemon drop cocktail, you’ll need strawberry puree, limoncello liqueur, lemon vodka, and lemon-lime soda.
To the ice-filled shaker, add the strawberry puree, limoncello, lemon vodka, and lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7up). Place the lid on the shaker, and ensure it’s secured tightly. Vigorously shake.
Pour the cocktail into a martini glass
Remove the top portion of your cocktail shaker, and strain the cocktail into your favorite cocktail glass. Enjoy with a lemon slice, or even add some frozen strawberries as a way to keep your drink extra cold.
What can I use instead of a cocktail shaker?
Don’t have a shaker? You can use a mason jar with a tight fitting lid – it will work in the exact same way. When it comes time to pour, simply crack open the lid leaving a small opening to strain the liquid from the ice, and pour your drink.
What does a strawberry lemon drop martini taste like?
The flavors of this drink are amazing! It’s like a grown-up version of a strawberry lemonade. The limoncello adds some nice lemon sweetness, and the strawberries add a wonderful fragrance that goes perfectly with the lemon flavors.
This lemon drop cocktail will be a new favorite anytime you want to get the girls together for a mom’s night for drinks on the patio, or maybe a fun cocktail for your next book club. It would also be fantastic as a Mother’s Day or Easter brunch drink!
How to make strawberry puree for cocktails
To make strawberry puree, simply add fresh strawberries that have been rinsed, with stems removed to your blender. Puree until they reach a smooth form. If fresh strawberries are not available, feel free to use frozen strawberries.

What glass is best for a strawberry lemon drop martini recipe?
