With just three ingredients, these delicious Cheese, Grape and Pistachio Truffles are the perfect appetizer! Wonderful for a holiday party, intimate gathering or wine with the girls, these easy appetizers are sure to please!
Are you having friends and family over during the holidays? Maybe just a few girlfriends over for a glass of wine? Make sure you have some delicious appetizers to go with your libations, like my Cheese, Grape & Pistachio Truffles! Made with delicious, savory Boursin® cheese, these easy snacks are super-simple to make, and even easier to enjoy!
With just three ingredients, these easy appetizers come together quickly. Garlic and Fine Herbs Boursin Cheese is the perfect ingredient for these as it adds a nice, creamy, savory texture that pairs well with the sweetness of the grape inside, along with the crunch of the pistachios.
I was able to stop by my local Walmart to pick up a package of this delicious Boursin® Garlic & Fine Herbs Gournay Cheese, and I also picked up a package of the yummy Boursin Monterey Jack and Spicy Pepper Cheese Dip. Between the two of these, you’ll be set for entertaining guests all through the holiday season!
For these delicious appetizers, I actually picked up some Holiday “Globe” Red Grapes – they’re much bigger, and rounder that the average grape. Using regular red or green grapes works just as well. In order to get the cheese to stick to the grapes, I made sure to rinse, and then dry the grapes with paper towels. This made the process of assembling the appetizers really easy. Once I had the cheese on the outside of the grape, I then pierced the tops of the grapes with a toothpick, and then gently rolled them in chopped pistachios. Voila!
Between the delicious truffles and the Boursin® Monterey Jack and Spicy Pepper Cheese Dip, you’ll have a pretty fantastic cheese tray! Great to take to a gathering or party, or serve to friends coming over for a glass of wine.
Here’s the quick, easy and delicious recipe for these Cheese, Grape and Pistachio Truffles:
- 1 (5.2 oz) pkg. Boursin® Garlic & Fine Herbs Gournay Cheese
- 18-24 red, seedless grapes (any size)
- 1 cup chopped pistachios
- Rinse the grapes, and gently dry with a paper towel. Cut off a heaping teaspoon amount of cheese and gently press onto the outside of the grapes, covering the entire surface.
- Pierce a toothpick through the tops of the cheese covered grapes. Place the chopped pistachios on a flat surface and roll through the gapes over the pistachios.
- Place on serving platter or cheeseboard and enjoy right away. Refrigerate any leftovers.
I hope you get the chance to enjoy this easy, delicious appetizer with friends and family this holiday season! Enjoy! ~Erin
