What do I need to make a chipotle sauce recipe?
Here’s a quick reference checklist of the ingredients you’ll need to make chipotle sauce:
- Mayonnaise – we like Duke’s Mayo, but any mayonnaise will work for this recipe.
- Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce – Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce can be found in the Hispanic Foods Section of your local grocery store. The chipotle peppers come in a smokey adobo sauce which brings down the heat of the peppers.
- Fresh lime juice – I recommend using fresh squeezed lime juice. If fresh limes are unavailable, you can use bottled lime juice.
