In this post I’ll show you how easy it is to make an iced latte at home, what ingredients you’ll need, and the best tools to have on hand for making all your favorite coffee shop drinks at home.
What do I need to make an iced caramel latte at home?
- Milk – milk is an essential ingredient for making a latte. You can use an type of milk you prefer, either dairy or plant-based. I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
- Espresso – traditionally, a latte is made with a shot of espresso. If you don’t have an espresso machine, you can either use instant espresso powder OR strong brewed coffee.
- Caramel sauce – I’m using Torani caramel sauce, however, if you want to save yourself some calories and sugar, there are many great sugar-free caramel sauce options on Amazon. You can also use a caramel syrup.
- Ice – keeping your iced latte cold is essential for enjoying this classic drink cold.

How do I make an iced latte at home?
Making an iced latte is quick, simple and needs just a few ingredients. Start by filling a tall glass with ice. Pour in your choice of milk, either dairy or plant-based.
To the milk and ice, pour in a shot of espresso. Next, top the latte with caramel sauce. I use this Torani caramel sauce in my Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino recipe as well.
Stir all of the ingredients together and enjoy right away while cold.

Ingredient Substitutions and Recommendations:
- Fresh brewed espresso – Don’t have an espresso machine? No problem. You can use instant espresso powder, like Lavazza Instant Espresso. You can also use strong brewed coffee.
- Milk – I used vanilla almond milk. When making a latte, you can use any milk you prefer – either dairy or plant-based.
- Caramel Sauce – I’m using this Torani Caramel Sauce which is fantastic in coffee drinks. There are other sugar-free options available.

Iced Caramel Latte
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cold milk dairy or plant-based
- 1 oz. fresh brewed espresso or instant
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce like Torani Caramel Sauce
- ice
Instructions
- Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in the cold milk.
- Top the milk and ice with the fresh brewed or instant espresso.
- Top the milk and espresso with the caramel sauce. Stir together well to incorporate all the ingredients.
- Enjoy right away while cold.
