The perfect Ranch Dipping Sauce for every Ranch lover!
The great flavors of Parmesan cheese and ranch dressing come together for one amazing dip and spread! Perfect for fries, onion rings, chicken tenders & wings, sandwiches, veggies and more, this Ranch Dipping Sauce will be your new favorite condiment to put on everything!
Everyone has that one friend that puts ranch on everything. My husband is that person in my life. He’ll put ranch on everything from chicken wings, fries, tater tots, tacos, and more. So when I said I was going to make my own Parmesan version of ranch dipping sauce, his ears immediately perked up.
Not only was this ranch sauce super easy to make, I think it tastes WAY better than anything you get in a bottle, jar or comes in a powdered mix. I’m definitely a ranch person as well, but sometimes I think to bottled ranch or powdered mix gets a little too salty, and then overpowers the food that you’re enjoying it with. This Parmesan Ranch Dipping Sauce has the perfect balance of savory, that is wonderfully complimentary to pretty much everything you put it on!
Here’s how this fantastic ranch dipping sauce comes together:
Step 1: Add the ingredients to a mixing bowl
This dipping sauce comes together in just minutes. It’s simply a matter of combining the sour cream, mayo, Parmesan, garlic and vinegar, along with the spices. As you’ll see in the recipe below, if you’re looking to lighten up this ranch dip, feel free to substitute light sour cream and light mayo (I particularly like olive oil mayo) for the full-fat versions. You can also use plain Greek yogurt, which is a great substitute for sour cream in just about any recipe.
Don’t forget the spices. I added dried parsley flakes, garlic salt, onion powder and pepper to give this ranch dipping sauce the perfect seasoning and flavor. Not overpowering, but just the right amount to be complimentary to whatever your dipping or spreading this on.
Step 2: Whisk the Ranch Dipping Sauce
Once you have all of your ingredients in the bowl, simply whisk together until everything is well incorporated. The sauce will have a thick, creamy consistency that can hold up to everything you’re enjoying it with. Much like my Smokey Chipotle Dipping Sauce, it makes for a fantastic spread on a sandwich, and is the perfect cool, creamy companion to the spiciest of chicken wings!
Step 3: Serve and Enjoy!
This ranch dipping sauce can be enjoyed right away. Simply add to your favorite serving bowl, and enjoy with chips, onion rings, chicken tenders, chicken wings, veggies and more! It makes for awesome football food as well. Place this dip in an airtight container, and take it with you to tailgate at your next football game or serve at your next viewing party.
